virat kohli

       Virat Kohli

Its springtime of 2006, where the match is going on between Delhi and Karnataka under Ranji Trophy, where Delhi is facing worst time and lack of runs and about to lose the match, one more wicket went for Delhi and an 18-year teen guy padded and stepped into Greece and the day ended without any result, the next morning when it's about 3am he got a piece of news that his father got expired and on another side, his team would lose the match if he won't turn up for batting…………. The teen is under extreme pressure and situation was very worst, it is time for him to take a call whether to go to his family and condole them or to bat, family, stood nowhere when responsibility and passion matters, he made himself strong and decided to lift up bat then attend the formalities of his father cremation, did his batting till last and scored 90 runs and played a key role in making his team win and then went to his home. This one incident shows his psychological courage and perseverance. That boy is none other than the present team India captain, run machine and our chikoo VIRAT KOHLI. VIRAT KOHLI was born on 5th Nov 1988 in Delhi to a Punjab family. His father's name is Prem Kohli, a criminal lawyer and his Mothers name are Saroj Kohli. He was a street player who used to play at the age of 3 years, seeing his interest his father joined him in West Delhi Cricket Academy at the age of 9. He started learning all the key tricks from his coach Raj Kumar Sharma and also playing league matches on behalf of Sumit Dogra CricketAcademy.

A few examples of his dedication and passion towards cricket from his coach Raj Kumar like he’s an aggressive and an attitude driven player and can show his best at whatever number he’s sent. Sometimes he wouldn’t even go to his home during his training sessions, where he’s coach used to send him home forcibly. That dedication and passion-driven him in Under-15 team in 2002 and Under-17 in 2004. The year 2006, A turning point in Kohli’s life in which he got selected for the Indian Under-19 team in England. Though the grounds in England are a little scary it wasn’t for Kohli, it was like a child ground for Kohli with 105 runs average three-match ODI series and scored 49 runs in three days test match and won both the series and then his name got fame in India. Consecutively won the Under-19 match with Pakistan. Those days where my father got expired, his family faced a financial crisis, lived in a rented house these situations where I can't forget in my life Kohli said in an interview emotionally which shows his maturity. Sensationally India won under-19 world cup under his captaincy in 2008 taking the right decisions in right time by making changes in both batting and fielding. This resulted in the IPL Franchise Royal Challengersbanglore brought made a contract with Kohli for 30,000$. The same year he got selected for the Indian team at just 20 years of age which is difficult for any other cricketer. He played his first international ODI match against Srilanka, as the legendary openers Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag couldn’t join the team because of injuries, Kohli replaced them in top order and made his mark with his first man of the match in 2009 against West Indies and made his first century in the same year against Sri Lanka in 2010, out of all these he made his own calendar year and got selected for 2011 world cup.

By hitting a century in his debut world cup match which made him the first in order to place such record and the partnership with Gambhir of 83 runs marked as a key role for winning the Cup. He played his first test match against Australian 2011 in which he stood as top scorer in the series and won the series with 4-0 points and became the vice-captain of the Indian team.He has scored 183 runs in the Asia Cup against Pakistan by smashing the record of laura. He also played a key role in winning the ICC Champion trophy in 2013. He did captaincy for India – west industry series and won the cup as Dhoni couldn’t take up the captaincy because of injuries. Keeping all the legendary players aside he was made captain for the Zimbabwe series for five matches and single-handedly won the series with 5-0 points. After the Australia tour in December 2014Virat Kohli turned into Captain Kohli as dhoni didn’t recover completely from injuries, so he was made captain for the test series. Unexpectedly, dhoni announced retirement from test cricket so Kohli turned as the future captain of test cricket. On continuous statements from dhoni as retirement as captain from ODI and T-20, Kohli was made as captain for all the formats of the Indian cricket team. In these 11 years of his journey all the milestones he has crossed, all the records he set, his perseverance brought him a special place in cricket history with a step ahead of all the remaining cricketers. After getting into the team the role he played in Indian cricket history made netizens to compare him with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, scoring the fastest 1000 runs, fastest 10k runs, fastest 35 centuries in ODI history.

The only batsman in the world to have an average of more than 50 in ODI, T-20, and Test series. ICC Cricketer of the year two times, ICC ODI player of the year three times, ICC Test player of the year for one time are the privileges the cricket world has given to him. For his outstanding performance in cricket, the government of India has honoured him with Arjuna Award in 2013, Padmasri awarding 2017, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award in 2018. Though RCB didn't win a single cup till now, it has a higher no. of fans than any other team because of the team spirit and Kohli and Ab de Villiers magic partnership which turns the audience go crazy for RCB. As per reports, Kohli earned a whopping 252.72crores last year. Now His overall net-worth is approximately INR 900 crores For any individual marrying their loved ones is an achievement, Kohli also married Anushka Sharma whom he loved on 11th December 2017in Italy. Kohli is not only a good cricketer but also a great humanitarian. In 2013 Kohli founded VKF – VIRAT KOHLIFOUNDATION through which they are helping many poor and abandoned children to pursue dreams. Virat’s role in cricket history is remarkable. He is a role model for those people who are financially and emotionally worst. Let's take out a moment to bow him for his success.

ALEXANDER THE GREAT

ALEXANDER THE GREAT                    It is said that he was born from Zeus himself, a demi-god in the flesh. He tamed an unbreakable wild stallion that full-grown men feared to approach at the age of 12, and that horse would carry him to military victory after military victory until his untimely death at the age of 32. He was tutored by one of the ancient world's greatest thinkers. His name says it all- Alexander The Great. But how much about Alexander is really true, and what's fiction? And ultimately, with a whopping zero Instagram followers, can we truly say he was all that great? Haters and historians alike will tell you that Alexander the Great was born in 356 BC to the Macedonian king Phillip II and his wife, Olympias. A true Greek however knows that Alexander was actually the love child of Zeus himself, who had a nasty habit of popping down to earth and taking various animal shapes to con women into sleeping wi...
